Kashif has risen admirably to the challenge of presenting work on the use of stem cells to regenerate new heart muscle to a general audience. After taking first prize in the McGill University 3-Minute Thesis (3MT) / Ma thèse en 180 secondes competition in March, he won both first prize and People’s Choice award at the 2017 Eastern Regional Three Minute Thesis Competition at the University of New Brunswick. On to the Canada 3MT!
